What is an Aura?
Each of us is surrounded by an electromagnetic energy field, called an Aura. The shape and color of this field changes as our state of mind and body changes. Auras are multi-colored projections of different energy frequencies within the body. At any given time your aura is dominated by one color. So, you may be described as having a "blue aura" because that is the most apparent and strongest color in your aura. The dominant color, as well as the multi-colored frequencies that are in your aura, can be seen in Aura pictures generated by a Multimedia Biofeedback Imaging System.
 
The colors of an aura are projected from seven "chakras*" or energy centers in the body. They start with the lowest chakra, at the base of the spine and vibrate red. Then they move upward to orange, yellow, green, blue, and indigo chakras. The highest chakra is violet/white and is at the crown of the head. (see picture) Each Chakra has a function.
