Shan Ichiyanagi
The Ancient Art of Candy Sculpture

Shan Ichiyanagi is a part of an ancient Oriental folk art, part sculpture, part entertainment, that originated as a street corner show. Most people believe that it began in Japan. A unique and amazing candy sculpture can be made in 4-5 minutes as you watch. It is fascinating for people of all ages. Shan can sculpt any object his audience can think of. He starts with a small handful of molten corn syrup. Next, he clips, snips, pulls pinches and soon a magical creation of a fish, unicorn, dragon, eagle or anything your heart can imagine appears in his hand. What a wonderful party favor for your guests and an experience that they will never forget.

Shan has performed for President George Bush, Mayor Tom Bradley, Jane Fonda, Michael J. Fox, Michael Jackson and many more.
